"GOD IS GREAT" Response: "ALL THE TIME." "ALL THE TIME" Response: "GOD IS GREAT." How true these words ring loud and clear for us in Youth Ministry. God has so abundantly blessed the teens and adults over the last several months. World Youth Day 2005 in Germany was a blessing among blessings for our pilgrims. We have seen a steady number of teens at our Sunday night gatherings. This past November's Eucharistic Youth Rally was dynamic and moving for all who attended as attested to the feedback from all over the diocese. The Youth Room has been appropriately renamed the "JP2" room in honor of our late Holy Father who had youth always close to his heart. The youth council has also decided that 10% of our fundraising profits will be tithed to a charity of our choosing. As well we are planning a Eucharistic Youth Rally day retreat to be held sometime this March in Buffalo. We want to begin our new year by
extending an invitation to our friends of past and newcomers to come and
partake in the vibrant life of our Youth Ministry. This invitation
comes with no strings attached. We only ask for your commitment to
, respect of, on-going presence and participation in what we are
about. However, as in years past, we seem to have a continual
issue with youth only wanting to be involved in the big summertime
events and not during the rest of the year. While this may seem
like not a problem on the surface, it affects the fibers of our
ministry. This causes us to have a weak infrastructure by placing
emphasis on one or two events and not on the important nights, our
Sunday Night programs, which is the meat of our ministry. We can
no longer be a pick and choose ministry if we wish to survive.

attend parish sponsored summer events and yearly retreats must:
