As an expression of love we have for new life, Saint Mary of the Angels Pro-Life Ministry announces our Spiritual Adoption Program.  Parishioners have the opportunity  to "spiritually" adopt a child.  Your spiritually adopted baby is "conceived" in August. You see, not all newly conceived babies are allowed to be born.  Almost 4,000 babies lose their lives to abortion each day.  It is these babies who are in danger of having their lives ended before birth that you are being asked to "adopt" in prayer: 1. "Spiritually" adopt a child individually or as a family.  Name the child for whom you will be praying, thereby giving the baby the humanity he or she deserves.  2. For nine months, pray for your unborn child and for all unborn children, for the power of prayer is great.  You will receive monthly reports describing your baby's development and your child will be "born" in May.  There are millions of babies desperately in need of our prayers.  Won't you please "spiritually adopt" one and share the love of life that God has given you?  In May, we will hold a Baby Shower for our "spiritually" adopted babies.  All gifts will be donated to the Twin Tiers Pregnancy Care Center.
